Hey Newbie here....
I just purchased my first MB- '03 CLK55 AMG, and I made sure the PO took the car to our local MB dealer for a checkup....cost about $130 and they found that the motor and trans mounts were shot! Along with a few other minor things.
They also charged him $65 to replace the nuts/bolts that hold on the w/s washer bottle! They claimed that they were missing and the bottle fell down a little bit!
I'll never hit the Stealership EVER!!! How ridiculous!
They replaced both sets for free...under warranty! Total charge: $1450.00!

Just heard back, the left motor mount was SHOT. $90 each for parts, plus labor. I just called the other $tealer$hip that did the PPI and raised hell. They told me to bring it there and if they truly are bad they will take care of it
