15mm Spacers On A Clk 55 Amg

i installed some 15mm spacers on the rear of my 55 this weekend. i am terrible with pics but i will try and get some posted up for you guys. they really make the car look much nicer. enhances the stagger and stance plus the tires are pushed out to the edge of the fender like they should have been from the factory. also installed some chrome wheel bolts on all four wheels. they look a lot better than the flat silver stock wheel bolts.

the spacers are definitely a plus...i had to put them on the front when i first had the rims put on...i was getting a nasty grind from the brake caliper, but the spacers held it down...i was contemplating doing the rear as well...plz post pics so we can get a view of the new look...EZ

If you dont mind me asking, where did you get them from? how much did you pay for them? and did you need longer studs?? I am thinking about doing the same thing too. Please post pics!! Thanks

Spacers

you will need longer wheel bolts if you do anything over a 3mm spacer. i bought a set of billet aluminum spacers with chrome wheel bolts from ezAccessory.com. their website is a little confusing so you may want to call them. the spacers are hub centric and of very nice quality.

i am actually going to go ahead and pic up some front spacers too so i can make room for my new coilovers.

oh the 15mm rear spacers with chrome bolts cost me $85.90 with tax included.

Thank you so much for answering my questions. I have emailed them regarding the lug bolts but still no reply yet. Do you know what type and what size of bolts i should use with 15mm spacer??

spacers and bolts

i recently ordered a set of 10mm for the front. making some room for the kw v1's. anyway the bolts were 12x1.50 ball seat 50mm shank. they are a pretty busy group so it may take a day or two for them to answer your email. if you call and leave a voicemail they usually call back in the same day. they are a pretty cool group. my spacers are fit great.

when you email them be sure to give them the year, make, model, and wheel size.

The only bad thing about putting thicker spacers on the rear (vs the front) is that the car will understeer more. I did just the opposite & put wider spacers on the front to reduce understeer.

with our traction control system on you would really have to be pushing the car for it to understeer. doesnt the car look a little funny with the front wheels pushed out wider than the rear?

hi so for the 15mm spacers in the rear, you bought 50mm shank length to go with them? Or you were referring to the 10mm spacers in the front?
