I guess I'll order you up a set too.
Rich,
They sent mine out as soon as they got the pictures of my bad lines and emailed me the tracking number.

Looks like they used shrink wrap instead of a crimp. Might be better!

Rich,
They have done both. New crimped ends and shrink wrapped.

They have had many problems with this in the past as well. I HIGHLY recommend getting Stop Tech brake lines, they sell them seperate from BBK and their quality is FAR better and more durable. Not all brake lines are equal, go with the best

Don't know anything about G- Force SS brakes lines but I have Stoptech SS brake lines on my CLK55 for two years with no problems. I have used Stoptech SS brake lines on several cars over the last seven years with no problems. The construction of the G-Force brake lines is different from the Stoptech lines. The Stoptech crimp is longer to support the inner telon tubing and the stainless steel outer braid. The crimp on the G-Force brake lines looks like it ends riight after the fitting not supporting the brake line at all.

Just my $.02 but the Stoptech SS brake lines do not have any problems.

It looked as if they would take their sweet time replacing mine and they did, finally! No more communications with them after I sent a nasty gram. Then a week and a half later they showed up via UPS. Go figure.
Did they tell you they wouldn't replace them or just didn't communicate any more after saying that they would forward the claim to their manufacturer? If you have sent the pic, which they seem to want as proof, then they take a couple of weeks to send them, but don't notify you that they are coming.

CLK Cabrio
said they could not find my receipt for the brake lines. It doesn’t matter as I replaced them with the goodridge ones that are so much better. The brakes are firmer and I don’t trust their lines now. So just pisses me off that they don’t stand behind there product.

I just received my replacement set of SS brake lines. They will fit your 208 and are supposedly the updated lines from gforce.

They are for sale. PM me "an offer I can't refuse"

Why don't you use the black series brake like?

2*A2094280135

Stoptechs are also fine.

Stoptechs are the ONLY 100% safe SS lines, Gforces have had issues, ebay ones have had issues. Just get the best ones (stoptech) and call it a day.
