G Force stainless brake line - Issues!!!! Leaking!!!!
I have had the G Force stainless brake lines on my CLK55 for around 6 months. I am making this post as a SAFETY ALERT!! I am working with
G Force to resolve the issues. All 4 of my brake lines are failing. One has failed completely and is leaking. The remaining 3 are showing signs of leaking inside the protective outer sheething. I will post pictures soon.
If you have these brake lines be sure to check them and make sure they are not leaking or failing in any way.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Thanks Owen

I have spoken again to G Force today. They have assured me that the new lines will not leak. They have an all new end and crimp on them. They are replaceing all 4 of my defective lines at no cost.
Good customer service. Well done and thank you!

Couldn't find their info, sorry Owen. Could you forward the link I have them on too and will check with them about having a different set with improved crimping. Thanks.

I have spoken at length to G Force. They are aware that they have an issue with the early sets. The crimped ends were not done correctly. They are replacong mine free of charge. They assure me the new ones will not leak. They have totally redone the ends. We shall see.

Good thing you have installed super blue fluid, or you would notice the color. Did all leak externally or just one?

Rich,
The right front failed completly. It was leaking so badly I thought I had a master cyclinder going bad. It left puddles in the garage. That is the only one that failed totally.
The left front is just about to let go.

I got home tonight to a flat tire (driver's front). Hadn't driven the car in 9 days, but decided to go out tonight and buy a floor jack, tq wrench, breaker bar, work light, jack stands and a portable air pump.
I pulled the wheel off and have a leaking line as well. After I figure out what's wrong with the tire - I'm dropping off the CLK for fresh OEM brake lines at mbenzman's shop.

They said theyr'e reviewing my claim, I sent them a nasty gram this a.m. about them not sending a new set out asap. I just ordered new oem hoses a few minutes ago. I'm not impressed with their substandard part or lack of prompt action!![action](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/action1.gif)
I guess I'll order you up a set too.

Please do....I just learned the reason for my flat tire. I've got a pinhole leak IN THE WHEEL!!!!(tested right in front of me in the soapy bath). The tire itself is fine.
I wouldn't have believed it if I wasn't standing there. Now, I'm on the hunt for an 18 X 8 AMG Monoblck II!![hammer](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bonk.gif)

The thing with SS lines though, (on motorcycles) they are supposed to be replaced every 2-3 years, just a safety measure, since there's no way to see how the actual line is doing, can't see the signs of wear, etc. On a car though of course it'll be harder to keep an eye on them until it's too late and they leak. I'm just wondering how old were the lines, or could be a bad batch...
I hope you guys get taken care of though, this could have been a nightmare if not detected soon enough

The gforce brake lines were on the car (all 3 of ours) right at six months. I had MAYBE 2K miles on them.
