............the 6.2L motor is directly attached to the bumper and ae inseparable? A bumper is just a bumper. It may not fit a 2005 CLK55, but not because the engine is welded to the bumper.
Ted
.............I do this all the time; go on ebay. Get the VIN for one of the CLK63 BS on ebay. Use the VIN to order whaetver you want from your dealer.

haha, where theres a will, theres a way!...i'm sure every one of us can and will use that helpful hint @ some point...thanks Ted...
Ha wow never knew you could do that. So they dont care what vin number you have just as long as you have one? What about when they ask for the name and stuff??
Thanks
............a few tips. DO NOT CALL.
..........go directly to the parts department. DO NOT TALK TO ANYONE from the moment you get out of the car to the moment you walk into the parts department. If you do, you WILL get wrong information.
............hand the parts guy the VIN number and tell him the part you want. Simple. No names, nothing. The parts guy needs a VIN number to make sure you get the right part. This has become more important since MB has been changing their cars mid cycle. So, their instructions are to ask for a VIN number. He couldn't care less if the car belongs to lucifer. Everyone else at the delearship is jerking you around. The fewer people you talk to, the better.
