06 CLK500 Tail Lights on 04 CLK500??

06 CLK500 Tail Lights on 04 CLK500??
Does anybody know if the 06 CLK500 rear stock tail lights work on the 04 CLK500. I dont wanna buy it and then find out that it doesnt work. So please help you guys. Thanks

03 CLK55 AMG
The 06 tail lights will work just fine the dealer tried to sell me those to update my 03 CLK55. However, they new tail lights look the same as the tail lights on the Toyota Camry. Look at the Camry tail lights, nothing impressive or distinctive about the new tail lights.
The CLK tail lights are most distinctive, there are no others like them. Plus the turn signals flash orange vice red like the new tail lights. Guess I like being different from everyone else.

typically the 03's came with the lights that look like the ones on the bottom display pictures, and like mine...my mom has an 04 CLK and hers even look like mine, i dont remember seeing the lights on the top pic. until 05...

I personally like the older tail light better when the 2006 model came out but I changed my mind since when I bought my diamond silver 2006 Clk 500 Cabriolet. The new tail like look much better then the old one. As for the electrical part, it should be the same. I remember when I changed one of the bulb, I pull out the whole electrical panel with all the bulbs in it. If your panel with all the bulbs in it then it the same. Anyway, you can alway return it if it does not fit. It not an electrical part, it just the tail light housing and so you can return it. Too bad, I don't have a digital camera so I can take some pictures for you. Btw, mine tail light now look even better with tinted (tinted the white part only) like the older AMG tinted tail light.
