I have never been a fan of all black wheels... but that has me changing my mind. I think you have one of the few cars that can successfully pull that look off.

Here's what it would look like with a painted lip. I still prefer this over all black wheels because it seperates wheel from tire. HOWEVER, I do think your all-black wheel is the first I've actually liked.

Not my best work but it gives you a basic idea. Second one has slightly tinted windows. BTW, the pinstripes are simply taped on? Are they round in shape? I've always thought they were painted on.

i have some black BBS RC's on a tornado red GTI. it looks good. in my opinion black wheels really only look good on red and silver cars.
