2001 CLK55 Sale advice

How would you compare the coverage to the factory? Have you had any work done since? If so, what?

Thanks for getting back to me. Where did you list it? I was hoping to have someone sell it for me (consignment of sorts) as I am rarely home so it would be tough to show it. The little time I am home I like to be able to spend with my family and not going on test drives!
Anyone have any ideas as to a "Toy Store" of sorts in the northeast that may be willing to sell my car for a comission?

I had it on the benz forums, Autotrader, craigslist, other car forums. My luck this time is auto trader.

Gullwing, a coworker was considering your CLK 55 but he gave up waiting and bought a CLK 550 yesterday. Instead of all of this talk about extended warranties and consignment selling, you might have made a sale just by sticking up a price here or in the classified forum. Not to rag on you. I'm just sayin'

Laughing! I saw that 500 (E) on his website and it is unreal! I have always love those things. I think it only has 30k miles or so... Spoke for a while- and you are right- definitely a car guy which is great. He actually remembered you when I mentioned I was referred from a site. We talked about my car and he will be getting back to me shortly!

I really appreciate your input and candor. Between my schedule and a bit of procrastination I just haven't gotten everything together.
Great to hear that your co-worker fouhnd a car they liked. I am sure they are already enjoying it greatly!
As I mentioned earlier in the thread, mid (not late) twenties is where I would like to be. If I have a very serious buyer that can transact readily then I would be glad to entertain an offer. I have been collecting information (service records, warranty, receipts) in order to accurately represent my vehicle and it has taken a little longer than expected. We still have alot of unpacking to do!

Thanks for you interest. I actually have 3 offers on the vehicle as is and think it will be sold in the next 48 hours- I will let whoever purchases the vehicle that you have interest in the roof wing.
As to the warranty, my sentiments were the same as to the mileage but I at least wanted to offer it as an option. Thanks for looking!
