Well, after I took out the actual sensor and cleaned it; it seemed for a minute to have gotten better but yesterday evening when I turned the car on it idled up and down between 700-1000 rpms. So it's still unstable and the issue is not resolved. Check Engine Light is still lit. Still waiting for the new MAF which is in route. My delivery date is for 5/21/08. So I have more waiting to do...in the meantime I am about to start working on the Lexus They have this new Ipod integration option which would allow you to control the IPod song selections etc. through the Navi system and steering wheel. Just trying to kill time since I'm bored

Ha ha...it hasn't always been this way TRUST me. I've come a long way. By the way, I'm curious to know what are members here do for a living and their ages. It seems that we all are very blessed and fortunate enough to have such nice cars. I'm going to start a thread asking about what the folks do for a living here....look out for it.

I had the MAF replaced under warranty around 40,000. It now has 61,000. I did a cleaning re: Pancho directions and I must say that it is as good as new. I took it off, sprayed 3 times, waiting about 10 minutes between. Put it back together and what a difference. I'm hoping that it stays good. If it comes back, I'll do a replacement. The job is really easy.

What a minute. You mean to tell me that only after 21k miles you started having problems with the MAF? Now that's wack Those sensors are very sensitive to dirt and/or debris I guess. Do you still have the factory air filters or did you upgrade them to green or K&N filters? If you haven't done so then I strongly suggest you do, especially since you might find yourself having more issues with the MAF.

At what milage does the MAF normally get replaced? Or does it vary? I have 37K miles on my CLK now and I don't think its been replaced.
