Added K&N filters, had the resonators removed, installed H&R lowering springs, changed the transmission, rear end, and brake fluids to synthetic, and had all four wheels re-aligned. What a difference! The car sits lower and handles better and the V-8 growl is a lot throatier. My car now feels and sounds like a modified AMG and not your average Benz! I'll post pictures soon.

03 CLK 55 AMG, IMCO muffler/Magnaflow tips, KW V1 coilovers, 19" Petrol Metrix Wheels
no service yet according to the car? i think i will take it in on my own and new the minor service. i have put about 8,000 miles on the car since i bought last year.

about five months ago i replaced the stock muffler with a imco two chamber muffler and some magnaflow tips. had some kw V1 coilovers installed. painted the rear calipers silver to match the fronts. put 10mm spacers up front and 15mm spacers out back with chrome wheel bolts. my car is a 2003 so i have the stock amg 17" wheels on. Guess what my next modification is going to be? Looking to pick up some 18" or 19" wheels.

Did you remove the cats? My car doesn't have a resonator.

What did you pay to have the H&R's installed? I am trying to find a place locally and want to know what would be a "fair" price.

I bought the H&R's from eBay for $120.00 plus shipping and had them installed for $550.00 which included a 4-wheel alignment and follow-up re-adjustment. Make sure your shop has the right tool to remove your old springs. Mine didn't and had to buy one.

I think they are called secondary cats. I believe my exhaust is similar to yours. They are the round-looking mid-car "tops" that come after your main cats.
