My CD Changer got jammed when I got this error. Unfortunately, I had to completely rebuild the changer to repair my problem. Before doing that, try unpluging the changer (at the changer), then pluging it back in.

CAUTION: If you decide to repair your changer yourself, watch for tiny little springs that fly off when opening!

Is your car equipped with the Keyless-Go feature? This happens on occasion with mine. I simply put in the key and the CDC starts working again.

Just happened to me 2 days ago. Tried troubleshooting it but it didn't work. It started out not reading my CDs and now this. I took it to the dealer and they replaced everything. On the downside, they kept my magazine and sent it off to be fixed. They said they would send me my CDs when they do that.

I hope you are still under warranty? Even the CD Changers are super expensive! Believe me, I was seriously considering an aftermarket replacement if I couldn't get mine to work again. And if I got to that point, I would've just bought replacement CDs with it, and it still would have been cheaper than replacing OEM.
