275/235 tire combo...help fast plz...

I'm at the shop right now and thinking of getting 275/235 tire combo instead of 265/235...Will this be bad in any way...I have 19" x 8.5" in the front and 19" x 9.5" in the back...need help fast please...one more thing can i put 265/35/19 or 275/35/19 instead of 30...

the 275s may rub, also i dought there will be any benefit to you running that much wider.

You don't give offsets and even if you did it would be hard to say for sure - could depend on the brand of tires. Others have run 235/275 on those size rims without too much rubbing. BUT you are approaching the limits, so no one can guarantee it will work. Going to 35 series on the rear would be over the usual limit - if you do that you are actually changing for a bigger overall diameter rather than just plus sizing. Thus you run the risk of more rubbing and also messing up your traction control etc on account of too much delta in wheel diameters.

It might still work - or it might not.

What offset are u guys running, my rear is ET35 and the front i think is ET37....

Current: AMG GT-C. Sold: 01 CLK55, 00 ML55, 01 ML55, 06 E55
i have 275 30 in the rear w/ no problems. It only rubs on big bumps or small bumps w/ 3+ passengers. and it doesn't rub the fender, it rubs the plastic cover inside (the 208s have rolled fenders). I'm lowered also. I want to say the offset is a 40mm w/ a 10mm spacer, so 30 mm

275/30/19 wont rub fender, just the wheel wells, like da_guitarist . BUT I DIDN"T KNOW MY CAR COME WITH ROLLED FENDERS !!!! sweet

And is there any bad part with having 235/275 combo instead of 235/265 what size are you guys running in the front...
