Tnx Ben.
My first humble attempt in digital photography and MBWORLD uploading. Got a camera for Christmas. It looked so complicated, not user intuitive as opposed to the MB Comand bottons, - that I put it immediately back into the original box for a week. After reading the 180 page manual I finally got the courage to turn the beast on, and the rest is history...
As you can see, these mods are really inexpensive and I am NOT into racing and have no "billowing" tire smoking pix.
The original Michelin tire in the first pix has 21,000 miles on it...and another 10,000 to go.
I keep 35 lbs pressure on the rears and 40 lbs up front, NOT 33/33 as the misleading MB gas filler door label indicates. Now that I think of it, Michelin could have provided those erroneous tire pressures including the label for MB...

I imagine that you are over-inflating (vs their recommendations) due to excess tire wear? The Pilot Sports wear quickly! When you need tires again, try the Bridgestone S03 or Toyo T1s.
The CLK55 also has camber bolts in the front. If you are wearing on the sides of the front tires, have them add some negative camber (1.5-2 degrees). This will help them to wear more evenly, and handle better!

These blue MB laurel wheel center caps are standard center caps - that were used extensively on SLKs and the launch edition of the new SL 500.
They cost $15 a piece.
The MB electronics sub, who did my radar detector wiring, was able to pop-out the original star caps and pop-in the blue MB laurel center wheel caps -- without removing the wheels.
The glove compartment AMG logo is from a $15 AMG keychain, bought at the MB boutique.

While I am getting the center console "extension" shot for posting in the next couple of days, I thought I share a true living "lowjack" security suggestion...

...and as promised:
The inexpensive bottle/nick-nack/tissue holder.
The two trays were purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond and Target, they are bolted together and screwed into the back of the console and drive shaft tunnel carpet.
