CLK 55 Tire Pressure
For EVEN tire wear - new tires: 38F/35R
You get UNEVEN wear if you follow the pressures listed on the gas filler door: 33/33
Fortunately, I realized the erroneous pressures after 8,000 and made corrective pressure adjustments.

My 2002 CLK55 AMG Cabriolet gas filler door does not specify the 33/33 pressure that you noted. Would the 38F/38R pressure be appropriate for my car with 17 " Michelin Pilot Sports 225/45 in the front and 245/40 in the rear?
Thanks in advance for your help.

perhaps the gas door info was changed or is different at the cab, which is I believe 200 lbs. heavier. Mine has info overload label, made for the nuclear physicist.
Since you have the standard tires, I assume that you do average driving: half highway & half city.
Then I would go with 38 front & 35 rear. I check my presures once a month.
PS:
nice footer/signature

Thanks for the info. Seems there are alot of us with suspiciously similar footer signatures.
Thanks again.
