Bushings??

After getting my cats replaced this weekend, I was told by the dealer that I need new busings in the rears and it would cost 600 bucks to replace one! I need both replaced....is this way too high or what? Can someone show me where I could go to get this part for cheap and approximately how much could I expect to pay for installation. Thanks in advance fella's.

Polyurethane bushing availability

Should you locate any polyurethane suspension bushings for W208's and W209's, please let us know on this site.
I would replace all of my bushings if I could locate them.
I have a 2003 CLK55AMG, and have not been able to locate any on the web.

Will do! I'm going to contact my local Mechanic who works primarily on MB cars and see what he says.

30hp for $3,748 what ? you know what forget that 30hp buy yourself a nice rims and custom your exhaust you already have enough power. If you looking for speed then sell your car and get the E55

Bushings

This thread is getting off topic....What about the bushings?

There are plenty of other threads regarding engine mods....

Yeah you're right. As for the Bushings, most of the places that I've searched for them doesn't specify a fit for Mercedes cars which makes me skeptical about buying them. However, H&R has a sway bar set for fronts and rears that include urethane/teflon bushings. Other than that I'm still looking.

Yeah but those are for the W208's...nothing for the W209's and they're not polyurethane...bushings shouldn't go bad that often but I'd rather get the best if they're available.
