any update on what you think about the rotors? I haven't had to change out my rotors yet (only have 33K) I figure the time will come soon enough. The frozen rotors are definitely interesting. Although my brakes are starting to squeek so I'll probably be changing out the pads soon.

They're still sitting in my garage. Should go on this week - track date is in 2 weeks.

MY CLK is now at mbenzman's shop.

Honestly, I don't expect to 'feel' any change whatsoever....just that they'll last 2X longer than the non-frozen OE rotors. Car is getting prepped for the track at the end of the month (see my sig for Heimatfest info).

I def have to look into this. Mine are squeaking and need to get them looked at. If it's replacement time, I'm def on board.

These are considered 'track' rotors only, Chappy?

And what's with the extra $45 for 'slotted' frozen rotors?

I'll be using mine for both street and track use.

I never inquired about the slotted rotors, sorry.

Replacement CLK 55 AMG Brake rotors.

Hi, I am looking for some front brake rotors for my CLK55 AMG.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get rotors without having to change the calipers?
What are the best rotors for the AMG?

If you have stock calipers, I would recommend getting stock rotors.

Otherwise, you can upgrade the whole system (lines, pads, rotors, calipers) to Brembo, StopTech or other quality brand.
