Green CLK55 AMG???
Hello All,
Do I have the only green 2001 CLK55? I have never seen another, even in photos. Bought it because of it's unusual appearence and low milage that was MB certified (19,331km / 12,082miles). Can anyone offer any info on it? Also, it has designo interior that is two tone black and gray. Is it pretty rare?

Unless you're talking a hybrid 55, sorry, you're not alone.
Green 430s and 320s are neither common nor rare. For AMGs, you're getting a little more unusual. Just what color (and color code) is it?
Mine is designo alanite green (008) which is a somewhat darker than British racing green. A photo would be nice - check out the Nurburgring! thread to see some shots of mine.

Green CLK, if my docs are correct, it sounds like your car was a special order vehicle. I show the standard exterior colors for a 2001 CLK designo as being designo Mocha Black (color code 033) and designo Slate Blue. In 2002, Slate Blue was dropped in favor of designo Cashmere (color code 036). Any CLK (320/430/55/coupe/cab) could be ordered with the designo package (heated seats or the K4 package were required on the 320 or 430). Of course, these were US spec options. Canada may have had their own set of rules.

Yeah, this is definately a Canadian car as everything is in KM's and such.

I would guess it's "mineral green" but I'm not sure. That's the first time I've seen that color on a 55.
BTW I have seen a couple of other 208 55 CLKs in my car's designo alanite green, for sale on the German mobile.de site (there are always dozens of 55s for sale). But never in real life, and never with my "espresso" interior.
So my tender narcissistic ego still stays intact.

It is mineral green. Just had it at Local MB dealer. They said it was special order with special order interior. Maybe it IS the only one produced like it.
