I'm not even gonna go into this one ... just too easy. Just keep it up ... you're going the way of MHP.
For your information I was an AMS client. I bought one of you crank pulleys. Look it up in your records. Of course now its off since it wobbled and I just didn't feel safe.
back ON topic.
Cdiem you didn't say if your budget was 25k or 2500. Congratz on the going with the NOS I"m sure you will enjoy it.
If the budget was really 25k then I"ll look to adding the supercharger(Renntech/Kleeman) as well.
of course after you get all the power you really will want coilovers and brakes as well.

If you had the resource to whip up an SC kit to add to your potent parts line up you'd be praising the power of boost Omey
I think its no more a waste or silly to supercharger an N/A M113 as it is to rework a C36 motor with parts and such.......
Hard to swallow considering the fastest MB's are boosted, fact.

no doubt that if you have the means to supercharge or turbo and you crave power you should.
i can not remember the name of the turbo set-up but basically it locates the turbo in the fenders at the ear of the car replacing the exhaust with turbos. that kind of set-up on the 55 would be awesome. STS or something like that. you mainly see them on Corvettes and American V-8s. i saw the set-up on horsepower TV and the sound is intoxicating.

Hey guys,
Sorry if i didn't clarify this, i am looking in into the best way to make Horse Power the cheapest and most effective way. Regardless of price. If i can save a couple grand that's great, im looking into the nitrous systems because from what i have read and heard its the best bang for your buck. If the performance is about the same as a S/C might aswell get it. Now if my engine is gonna blow, i hope not. If anybody has any experience chime in.
-BTW thanks for the responses!

The difference between turbo/supercharger and nitrous is that you get power with the former every time you step on the gas. You don't have to worry about whether your bottle is full, etc. You also get a more linear power delivery. Nitrous has gained the reputation of killing engines because it is like an on/off switch.

FI vs Nitrous
I went with FI because I wanted to have the power available to me all the time. I don't have a convenient place near me to be topping off the Nitrous bottle. I already have to get gas ... didn't want to have to be refilling nitrous bottles all the time.
Now that I have FI ... I'm thinking of getting Nitrous on top of it though ...
