Some Advice needed: Power Seat quasi-failure?

I got my window tint stripped tonight. After the place was done stripping off the tint in my car, he came up to me and said the driver seat will no longer go back.

It is the driver's side. Everything else works on the seat(head rest, seat lift, back part, etc) except the back and forth motion.

Of course it had to break in the upmost position. At least i'm not over 6 feet.

Any ideas? TIA.

On a side note, every car I have been in this week something has broken. While I was driving in my friends car his a-frame decided to snap make the suv almost flip.

In the trunk, under the floor, by the battery, there’s a fuse box. I'd check fuses numbered 6 and 7.

Word of advice....the fuses getting blown might be a sign of things to come!! My fuses started blowing before my seat motor finally went out.

It went out when my wife 5ft 2in tall was driving so when my 6 ft frame tried to get in I was unable to drive the car at all!!! Someone on the forum told me to hit the motor with a hammer, screwdriver or anything that I could get under the seat. This made the seat motor revive just one more time and enough to place it in my seating position.

Hopefully it doesn't happen to you but I thought I would warn you ahead of time JUST IN CASE.

Yup blew a fuse. Turns out something got stuck in the track, and I guess it made it blow the fuse. I removed a piece of foam, replaced the fuse, good as new.

Thanks.

I just had the exact same problem occur yesterday morning.

I was going crazy this evening; so I decided to seek advice from MBW.

Sure enough, fuse 6 was the culprit.

You guys are AWESOME!!!

Thanks.
