Whats the widest rear wheels you have seen on CLK55

Hi I want to put some rear wheels with a big lip. Without using wheel spacers. Whats the widest rear wheels you have put on a 2003 and up CLK 55. Pics would help too.

you can easily run 9.5's which can handle up to a 275 tire so there isn't really any need to go bigger than that. You may need a 5-10mm spacer depending on the offset of the wheel, however the clearance on the inside is tight so spacers are recommended.

You Euro boys do things alittle differently though, super stretched tires is signature Germany . Although really, the widest wheels you really need to run are limited by tire size, and the widest tires you can typically run without rubbing is 275, so really anything over 9.5-10" is a bit overkill.

i run 19x9.5 with a 20mm offset. tires are 255/30/19. i am sitting really low and the wheels are flush. i am sure you could run wider wheels but you would have to get the offset perfect or you would rub on the outside fender. i not using any spacers.
