engine noise

I have this wierd engine noise and it sounds like its the chain or a bearing?
Have just changed the belt tensioner and the little pulley. But the sound is still there. Engine has run 107.000km.

Does anyone know of any servise of the engine chain? Some slides or anything that needs to be replaced perhaps? Does these engines have a weakness anywhere (bearings or )?

engine is a m113 55 amg 2004

You may want to use a mechanic's stethoscope. If you've never used one, caution is warranted.

Perhaps pull off the accessory drive belt and try spinning the pullies by hand and see if any have a hang up. I don't think you would have anything with the timing chain.

Is it coming from the passenger side? It could be your lifters are getting stuck, that can make a really nasty rattling sound.
