Heard that the CLK from the windshield forward is essentially the same as an SLK R171 chassis? Anyone know what, if any, differences there are?

I'm looking to put a 63 motor into an R171 chassis and trying to determine what the major obstacles are.

Dude.........if you got money, anything is possible !!! I've seen the SLR supercharger engine in an Slk 55 that out run the ferrari ENZO !!! Here's the video clip..........

Heh, of course anything is possible, but it's a matter of simplicity too. Ended up posting in this forum since it would be more realistic to "trick" the engine into thinking it's a CLKblack that happens to be in an SLK chassis.

Connections with ECU, TCU, transmission, ignition, etc would likely be easier than trying to trick it into thinking it's an S, CLS, CL63....."I think".
