Carllson CLK-RS
Does anyone know anything about the Carllson clk-rs.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtln4vDNVsA
From what i have researched the car features 19" wheels and carlsson adapted bilstein pss9 coilovers.
I dont understand how the car is so composed on the track. I wonder if they carried out any other mods in terms of handling perhaps sway bars of strut bars.
know body can deny that the clk-rs performs great on the track. I have personally tracked my clk and my car had terrible body roll which was captured by the event photographer. When you look at the clk-rs there is hardly any arch gap when taking hard turns.
Btw i just ordered some pss9's after seeing this video.
Any further information would be great, Mike

that car also has a partial cage in the back of it. that would help alot with ridigity of the chassis.

i have just learnt that the clk-rs has extensive supension mount modifications much like the clk63bs. i guess thats why it handles so well
that said i will still report back how the pss9 coilovers feel when i recieve/install them!

I have the Carlsson version of Bilstein pss9 and the difference from Carlsson Pss9 and original Bilstien pss9 is that the springs are different. They are slightly a bit harder in the Carlsson version. One make uses H&R springs and the other uses Eibach springs. Got min adjusted at Nürnbergring this sommer and compared to standard suspension its a whole world in difference. Car is realy handeling like real race car now.

Hi all,
Just want to check if anyone knows whether bilstein pss9 coilovers would fit to w208 clk 320? Thinking of replacing the standard one. Thanks!
Cheers,
Olie
