car feels sluggish after new wheels
I put on new wheels and now when I drive hard, it feels as if I've lost a lot of power. I'm pretty sure my wheels are lighter than the stock AMG wheels (Roderick Cinque Front 27 lbs, Rear 28 lbs) but I cannot think of any other reason why this would happen. Has this happened to anyone else? Can anyone help me think of why this might happen?
btw, my car hasnt been throwing any malfunctions except for an occasional "low coolant" but after I loosen/tighten the coolant cap, the message goes away.

Wheels
If you went up in total Diameter of wheel in the rear that will lower your effective gear ratio and have the effect of slower acceleration.
I can feel a difference in my mustang between stock heavy steel wheels and lightwgt drag wheels. But removing wgt should not slow you down.
Perhaps the weather is heating up now and that is killing power VS the cool winter days.
Cold Air = power.

my guess is that the computer thinks that you still have other tires. Do an adaptive throttle reset (search forums) and it should be fine.
ditto on coolant fill!
