I'm sorry not 8 piston but 6 piston front calipers.....

I know that mid production of the w209 clk55 amg put bigger front brakes on the clk. Same brakes that was used on 2003-2006cl55. What year did the change happened? 05? or 06?

if you search the w209 (non AMG) forum, you'll find the answer. I'd tell you but I can't remember - I'm pretty sure it was 05. 03 and 04 55 were the 4 piston.

2005 CLK55's had 6-piston front calipers, w/4-piston rears.
