Custom Wheel Issues--Long Bolts
I installed a set of Mandrus custom wheels. The lug bolts in the kit were to long (I didn't realize this at the time). I took the car off of the jacks and began to roll forward. The long bolts ripped off the lower parking brake springs and destoyed them. All of the other components look ok. I found the proper bolts and put everything back together. The car drove fine for about 30 minutes, then I felt a bad vibration. I pulled over and checked all of lugs. All ok. The car drove fine for another 30 minutes, and the vibration came back. I pulled over and stopped. I was able to drive home just fine. I am suspecting that centrifugal force is causing the parking brake shoes to expand. When I stop, they release. I am going to get the new springs tomorrow. Any input on this issue? Do you think this is the cause of the vibration? Removing the rear rotors is a PITA!!!

No idea whats causing the vibration. The good news is - your rear rotors will come off much easier this time. The corrosion locks them in place. Having been removed recently, the corrosion hasn't had a chance to set up.
If the shoes have been dragging for 30 minutes or so, you may want to replace them as well.
