It will be very interesting to see this project as it progresses. I will add this....Some of your projects have already been worked on by many others and solutions (equipment/gear) has already been identified like the "suspension lightness issue at high speeds" (see Euro-spec springs) so this may or may not help you out.
Now...lets hurry up and see some mods!!! I wish I could do this as well but bills outweight the need for mods right now.

i'll post pix as i complete projects so you should be having some soon. Im modding this one backwards compared to most cars i have owned and I like it this way. Since the car is already fairly quick; im doing appearence mods and sound mods first, performance second and since it handles like a beast suspension last. Usually I do suspension, performance and then appearence.
There is no guarentee any these "projects" will some to fruition. After I finish my first project and stage 1 of the suspension project I'm gonna be slacking off on the doing and more researching until funds are more readily available to do several mods at once. Other than that, as i said "I will pick up parts out of order if i find deals on them.

i really want to get it lowered but $$$ is tight for the next few months. i cant wait for the exhaust project. got some good ideas. please dont hate on the black series emblem too bad; if anyone asks me i will blatantly tell em it is to show off the "black treatment" i gave to the car and not the black edition merc package.

I think your car is coming along really well mate but it looks like your GP is getting lonely in the background of the first pic
I know what you're saying about the BS tag but I'll forewarn you - you're probably going to get flamed for it. In the end, it's up to the individual and their own tastes, you obviously have shown us with your work so far that you indeed do have good taste in styling. I'll be 100% honest in saying that I never liked the front end of the W208 CLK's (and the older E's as well) but I'm really shocked how much I like yours, it's a beautiful car pal.
Keep up the great work!

hmmm looking at the pic im thinking i may debadge the rear license plate bracket. too many AMG emblems for that real estate. What do you think?
Also if i blacked out the badges no one would be able to see em.
If i removed the badges no one would know what it is.
lastly, the rear Spoiler I want has a cutout for the star emblem.

hmmm im gonna give serious thought to changing/deleting the badge arrangement on the rear of the car. only thing certain so far is the star stays and one of the AMG badges has to go.
EDIT: after some thought i am removing the license plate badge and the clk 55 badge. most people dont know what it is any and an enthusiast doesn't need a badge to know what it is.

Nice build thread. As you start sourcing would you mind providing a list of vendors? I've got some ideas for my CLK that would benefit from some knowledge like that.
