I have a fairly rare 1997 E60T . No plaque on engine or door jam . My 97 E50 sedan has one on door jam . Seems amg japan took delivery of all vehicles as stock e420’s and did the transformation there . Vin numbers on both cars come as stock . Both are obviously full amg japan builds . No love from the lounge guys so I guess they are a group I might rather not be involved with anyways . Anyone know how it worked in the 90’s at amg and amg japan ? I don't even remember my log-in info for the lounge. I have three different decals that I won't use on any of my cars. But enough of that talk, can you share pics of your wagon? I can't answer questions regarding AMG/Japan procedures, but I do love wagons!

Production (U.S. market) for the 208/55 was for 2001 and 2002 model years only. The cabrio version was available for the 2002 model year only. Incidentally, there was a CLK430 cab available for the 2003 model year.
