I recently read MB will send an original window sticker for your particular car at no charge if you prove ownership. As a second owner of a 2066 CLK55 (11,500 miles) I was interested in securing the original window sticker.

After calling MB to request a copy I was told the fee is now $50.00 and this includes a presentation folder with additional information about my particular car. I asked MB to expand on the what is included in the packet and she did not have additional information.

Has anyone recently ordered the original window sticker and paid for the "information packet"? If so what is in your packet and is it worth the $$$.

It's prolly worth the 50 bux. I have both original window stickers for my AMG's. But I did something similar for a Firehawk I had. I'm sure MB will be just as good.

 

In order to obtain a copy of the original window sticker they said it has to be a mercedes model no more than 3 years older than the current date.

For cars 2009 and prior it will be a letter format that is printed on a real "nice" piece of paper. A $50 piece of paper
