For Matutino :
What year is you CLK ? Is it a phase 1 ou 2 ?
If it's a phase 2, you probably just have tu change the buttons by paddles without electical modications. I friend of mine have done it on a 2004 C55
If it's a phase 1, you just have to be patient to modify the electrical cards. You can use dresmel.
As the modification of electric cards is not so immediate, I used the car without button during a week without problem for information

I have put engines back together but modifying such a small electric part makes me doubt myself
How did you cut it? Did you shave it or else? How can I make sure I'm not destroying the actual electric board.... I'm not so sure a out this mod anymore

I was about to pull the trigger on doing this, but after how poor manual mode performed at the track it would be for looks only, and to me it is not worth it.
Looks great though. On the other hand if I came across a Black Series steering wheel...

I use M mode for throttle steering in corners. For straight line acceleration the fastest method is just meaving it in S mode.

I am pretty sure that BS steering wheel has the paddles with electronic cards of the C63 which will not fit a 2003 CLK. You will have do do the same work on button electronic cards as I did
