auto wiper going too fast?
hi all,
does anyone know what makes the wipers go faster or slower?
i know it's supposed to be rain sensing, but my wiper's been very inconsistent. even when it's barely drizzling, sometimes it's going really fast...even faster than the 2nd click mode. the car's no longer under warranty at 83k miles, but i'm curious if this is common or if there's an easy fix/answer.
thx.

I noticed the same thing the last few days of commuting on I-280. Its my hunch my blades aren't doing a good enough job wiping (they do need to be replaced) and so the sensor thinks there is more rain than there really is. This might make sense if the sensor is in the rear view mirror like I think it is.
I'm going to pick up some new blades and see if that resolves the issue.
