w209 CLK55 "city lights" help
Hello Everyone! I am new to the forums here, I just picked up my 03' CLK55 AMG this past saturday! what a car! I made the switch from BMW to MB and i am not looking back 
Dont get me wrong, BMWs are great. and still own two of them, lol Anyway.. so i tried searching but nothing seems to come up. I am hoping someone can help with this 
Some call it "city lights" or "DRLs" (daytime running light) its that extra little bulb right below the high beam bulb. I would like to do one of two things with it..
1) turn them off
I know my fiances 06 c230 sport allows her to turn them off from the menu on the car, but there doesnt seem to be an option on the clk55
2) Change the bulbs to match the 8000k xenon already in there
if anyone can help with this would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance, and i am happy to be part of this forum

Welcom to the forum. youre gonna love the 55. ive got an 05 55 vert. bounced between an m3 vert and this car and the MB just has so much more class.
Im not sure if you are able to turn off the driving lights apart from unplugging them but if you want a brighter/whiter look: PM AZN Optics here on the forum for some no error LED city lights in either 5000K or 8000K color. Ive got the 5000K ones and they match the stock Xenon's pretty well. super easy install and makes the car look great.

yeah MBs just ooze class and style, and the AMG is a beast AND a M3 eater (e46 M3) on top of that! Lol
