1999 320 clk
1999 320 autobox

i have a 1999 320 clk it is lingering in gear changes, ihave changed gearbox oil & filter, seem worse when hot, no noises from box runs smooth when it does change some days better than other days, had promlems whith missfires 4 months ago fix it whith maf sensor & erazed fault codes,can anybody tell me if maf sensor could be linked to this fault as gears only started playing up after i changed this, hope some one can help me whith this thanks ronnie

This is the wrong forum. You'll get responses that closer fit your model in the non-AMG W208 section. After replacing the MAF, did you do an adaptive throttle reset? If not, you can do it now.


Adaptive throttle reset:
  1. Turn the ignition key to posistion 2 (don't start it)
  2. Floor the throttle and hold for 30 sec.
  3. With throttle on floor, switch key to off, but don't remove the key.
  4. Let the throttle up
  5. Remove the key after 2 minutes.
You did use a real Bosch MAF, right
