Clk55 AMG Cab
Newbie w209 CLK55 owner. "Hello", and some questions.....
Hi everyone
After giving up trying to find a decent M3 Cab (forgive me!) I took a look at a conspicuously nice 04 clk55 at a merc main dealer and bought it on the spot. (the exhaust note alone was worth the money...). It has had two owners, full mb service history and just 34k miles. It's beautiful, and I want to keep it that way. So.......
- what would you all recommend as regards preventative maintenance? I'm thinking transmission fluid changes, common areas of failure, that sort of thing.
- for some reason, my car came stock with the 17" amg rims which just look a bit too small in my opinion. Ideally I'd like to upgrade to 18s. Any suggestions? My pref wld be the same style but just in a larger size....
- the car has the command system but no phone installed, and no blue tooth. Any recommendations for the best way to integrate an iPhone for both music and phone functions?
Any and all other advice gratefully received!!
Thanks

Congrats.
You may want to compare the service history against the maintenance booklet. If everything is current, you may wish to do the transmission service and consider all the work up to date.
