iv got a 2006 pewter clk55 amg cabriolet and im thinking about powder coating the oem amg rims black but iv heard you cant powder coat aluminum because it weakens the rims, is this true? Im also not sure how these rims would look black especially on my car, if anyone has pics it would be helpful, thanks.

Anodising is the best way to hard coat aluminium alloys.
