New driver of Clk55 Amg 2003----urgent help plz :(
I recently bought a clk55 Amg 2003 I was driving it and I wanted to test it so i drove it hard and I got "coolant check level"
I took it to the mechanic and it was leaking so I changed the coolant today, I took it for a ride to test it but it didn't work and the temperature got high and again I got the malfunction "coolant check level" when I drive slow it's normal and nothing happen but when I go fast and a lil hard the temperature gets high and the malfunction appears again![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Plz if someone knows what to do tell me I've been driving the car for less than 1 week

If car does not overheat or lose fluid when driving normal highway speeds and around town, then you say it overheats and/or loses coolant after hard driving?.
could be as simple as a leaky rad hose...... or as involved as a blown headgasket... or bad water pump..... or bad elec fan........ I would find a reputable shop and get her checked out.
You do not want to overheat this motor...... al heads and high heat not good.

Just wanted to add... after you did the second coolant change, make sure you have the ratio correct. If you have too much coolant to water it will run warmer. It's the water that disapates the heat.
