I MIGHT NEED A NEW KEY... INFORMATION PLEASE...
Hello Gents...
After 10 years, my smart-key has developed a crack in the casing.
The button area for the trunk release is developing a crack and I am curious if I can just get the case, or buy a used key off of ebay or something. Can I take the guts out and slip it into a new case?
All the electronics are woking fine. It's just that one flat surface that you push to open the trunk that is giving way.
Also, it's the old style key... not the new chrome model.
