clk55 amg restraint system problem
Hey i just actually bought a 2004 clk55 amg just about 2 months ago just yesterday a malfuntion appeared saying srs restraint system service now its not red so its not serious but i dont no if its something to do with the air bag or seatbelt because all of u clk55 owners know that the passenger seatbelt pops out after you close the door so u put the seatbelt on but that stopped happening but the driver side still does that so i was wondering is it the seatbelt that might need fixing or the air bag that makes it do that?

It might be an easy fix. If you changed batteries/disconnected battery, you have to resych the limits. The first one is the ABS. Turn the wheel all the way to the left, then all the way to right an then center. That should remove the warning light. The windows, seats, moon roof all need to be reset. Windows lower (not using auto down) and held for 5 seconds...up and hold 5 seconds...same for seats and roof. Hope that helps. If not, you have more serious issues.
