I looked at Hami 209 (2005) car and his axles were much bigger than mine. I was snapping axles like twigs, never really got to launch the car hard. You break when you launch on sticky tires.

I'm not going that short in gears. I'm sure with axles I would have lifted tire with stock gears. If you go too short in gear you will just spin. Plus I don't want to be revving high while cruising on the highway lol

There is a handy calculator for tire size, trap speed and final drive ratio out there if needed for the drag racers. Problem is what is optimal for the drag strip often stinks on the street/highway. I know I had a car with no OD and 4.10's..... 60mph max top speed.. very painful daily.

I got 3.55 and driving at 60mph its at 3000... TCU reprogrammed for gear change and transmission operation enhanced. Myself personally as soon as they make 3.73 or 4.10, they are gonna go right in. Only problems i anticipate is driveshaft or the adaptors on the ends.

2Precise,
Where did you get the 3.55 gears? Richmond?
Good to see this coming together. The tone rings are strange though. Are you going to have modified wheel flanges with a larger spline or stock splines?
I just finally got my subframe and started looking at dropping the 215mm in my car. I have the DSS flange for the differential. Man that thing sticks out far. I was thinking of doing offset bushings like you did and then started contemplating just cutting out the back of the subframe and welding in a new plate for the rear mounts. Not to worried about duplicating it.
FYI you guys I am working on getting the PCS tcu on the CAN bus for these cars. I hope to have it set up within a few months.

Yes I got the gears from richmond. Beware.... there is no shim kit and installing the gear was a ***** cause i had to machine all new shims. And richmond gears are noisy.
The axles flanges and hubs are all from DSS. I redrilled and splined the wheel hubs to 33 spline and the diff flanges are stock spline( alot bigger then the 210 diff).
A have the PCS TCU for at least 3 years now, just never bothered hooking it up... your gonna need a manual shifter for it, unless they came up with something currently. I just let eurocharged do it for now.
converting the 2 differentials is a little more difficult then bolting it up.. the mounting locations are different in 3 ways. When i did it, i dimensioned the 210 exactly and then made mounts.
Other then that, I went to the track already and went 10.4 hooking 1.6 and had zero issues.

Yes U need to reprogram the TCU and tell it the new gear ratio. Eurocharged can do this and they will reprogram the function of the trans as well... better and faster shifting.
