Red car Purple calipers

My opinion if they're the stock calipers is no. I also have an 01 CLK55 and those calipers are quiet small. I would not want to draw more attention to them by painting them a loud color. I'm never a fan of painting small stock brakes- only doing a BBK or repainting large stock brakes. Just my $0.02.

They clash. You don't see those two colors together in fashion, interior design or graphic design. Two bold colors rarely look good. On a red car, I'd do a tan or palomino color caliper...kinda like the ferrari red on tan leather theme...

I like purple on a white car or black or charcoal. Not on red.
I would vote any of the following:
black, bronze, tan, white, silver, red
Depends on wheel color too

Back to the future combination or Frisco and Flower Power of the 60's. For me those colors are a total no-no

Definitely not a good color combo under any circumstances IMO.
