Where did this name come from? I have heard many of you refer to your car as "The Beast" at first I thought someone called their car this but the more I read it seems all of you use the same name for your cars... Who/How did this start... Why I guess that is a stupid question.

It's a term that people use for powerful cars. It's probably been in use for decades.

Ok I understand that I just thought the CLK55 owners were using this as a standard term for this model... Read to much into it I guess.

Therein lies the heart of a beast:

I wouldn't say its a term strickly used for the CLK55....I'm sure it would be acceptable to call the E55 or the SL65 "The Beast" as well!

I was about to say that maybe the title should now be reserved for those with CLK63k's!!!

Sleestack's car is DEFINITLY a beast!!!! Wait.... that's not it, Sleestacks car should be Godzilla!!!!! It was a beast before his current round of mods. I think it has moved up to Godzilla territory now....
