Strong Fumes Odor
Hey Guys:
Purchased a 2002 55 a few months back, love the car and its definitely a keeper!!! I have noticed a strong smell when idling or when I turn the car off, I can usually deal with it but sometimes it does seem a little overwhelming requiring me to crack the window. If it was a gas smell I would of had it checked out already but it smells more like a strong exhaust smell. I owned a W210 55 in the past that did not have this issue from what I can remember. I know its a beast of an engine but did want to get some feedback, if any of you have experienced this or have any tips please advise. Someone told me it could be a Charcoal filter.
