Do quick search here there is a recent thread on the highest mileage clk's and many are purring right along at 200k+. If you are asking the question because you are contemplating a purchase then the two biggest issues are current mechanical state of the car, obvious, and maintanence history. The vehicle that are long running all have diligent owners and regular maintanence. If you are a potential purchaser you can get at both ogf these by taking the candidate car to an MBZ dealership , different from the seller, and having a pre-purchase inspection done. While they are going over the current state of the car, they can go into the MBZ database and pull the car's MBZ service history. Put that together with the carfax report and the owners ervice records and you should have a good picture. Good luck.

2002 CLK 55 AMG cabriolet Eurocharged
Somewhere in that year range 04-06 mabye the 113 grew 8 more valves.
The 32 valve engine is a work of art but not repairable by the average guy so to speak.
I heard from a MB parts guy that once the cylinder head is removed for service or performance enhancements the engine is useless.
I have seen the 32 valve head on E-bay and considered compatibility 113 engine upgrade.
I hope I am wrong, feel free to correct me on this.
The 24 valve engine is very strong and reliable as City Rat suggested, Check History if possible.
Cheers, Gator
