OEM or AM HID's & cant get dyno mode to work
Need a new hid headlight, should I stick with OEM or are any of the aftermarket ones just as good? Also I searched dyno mode for hours and can't get anything I found to work. My srs restraint light comes up when I start the car, will that prevent it from going in dm? The dealer is taking care of it for free but haven't had the time to get it there.

DYNO MODE for your W209 2003 :
1- Put the key in the ignition position 1
2- Within 3 second after the ignition is turned on to position 1, push the "reset bottom 3 times then A display Voltages manual should appear on your cluster.
3- Use the arrow up/down on your steering wheel to change the screen until you see "Dynomometer testing" manual
4- Use the "-/+" on your steering wheel to turn the ESP ON/OFF for Dynomometer testing.

I've tried that a couple times, even on different screens. Maybe it's the SRS restraint notification that wont let it go into dyno mode, it would make sense as Mercedes probably wouldn't want the owner dynoing the car if there are any malfunctions. IDK, but i'm getting that taken care of soon.

I stand corrected
maybe this thread helps

as far as the headlights go, I have limited knowledge but I would say that if you have the OEM headlights, than I would just replace it with another OEM
