SRS lamp intermittent

I found this today while vacuuming the rear carpet. That is the drivers seat belt harness . The cables are frayed, mashed and shorting. I suppose this could happen to any car on any seat. It is best to start looking at basics rather than jumping into the box so to speak on most problems.
The SRS is required for safety and interlocks with many of the systems on our cars. Youd be surprised.
My SRS lamp would come on randomly at times and stay on for a day or two.
I am going to remove the belt latch and solder the connections back, hopefully the SRS module is if applicable still working.

All the Best, Gator

I repaired the harness today and added some more photos for under seat references.
It takes about 15 minutes to remove the seat provided the dog is not licking your face while you work.
