Pretty much the same response you got in the other thread. I will add that depending on the model some companies classify these cars with "exotics" meaning they may or may not cover them. Your best bet because there are so many variables is to work with a company and get the coverage package that you want then shop that coverage package around to two other companies and make your selection from there. You may find that the quote that you received was reasonable for you, in your area. Good luck.

Yes, Progressive can but before I placed any reliance on the quotes I would call and verify, by VIN, with each company that they will cover your car. I had some rude surprises when the live agents ran my VIN and realized that it was an AMG. Everyone had to get a supervisor on the line and 2 of the 3 ended up apologizing and saying that the quotes were for regular CLKs and not AMG. Just a thought. Good luck.

As Mayhem from the Allstate ads said, "your cut rate auto insurance may not cover this".
Insurance through an agent does have advantages. My first Allstate policy was rejected because, as an agent said, "your initial policy with us has to be a regular car - nothing exotic." She then went on to tell me how to insure the same car they just rejected. It took 30 days to get a policy, and I had to pay another company through the nose in the mean time, but I ended up with the policy I wanted at a discount. Experienced agents know how to get you what you want. A little cash up front doesn't hurt if the TCO is at a discount.

I would not recommend Progressive to anyone. I had them briefly and their service is genuinely terrible. I recommend Allstate or State Farm and having a local agent who can address issues quickly instead of a 1 800 number.
You simply have to call for quotes.
