How much for spark plugs?

Dealer quote was nearly $800 to replace plugs on my 06 CLK55. Yikes. Anybody have suggestions? I put in an e-mail to ACG, but would love shop recs in Orange County. Thanks.

Plugs and Wires? Or just plugs and install? I can get the parts for a good price and refer you to some good shops.

I could do it for $350 plus tax. Includes parts and labor. I'm sure you can find a reputable shop like mine in your area to do it for a similar price. If you are ever in the Buffalo NY area with your car I'd be more than happy to work on it.

I don't recall exactly but I think I paid about 200 for plugs using discounts or coupon codes somewhere.
The only real challenge was the back driver and it would be helpful but not required to have the special tool to lever off the plug wires.

They are easy to change yourself and you dont need any special tools. Just pull the wires off or use a an open end wrench to pop the wires off. You can get the plugs on amazon at a decent price form time to time. Just shop them.

I paid about $300 for plugs (laser iridium) and Bosch leads. Did the work myself. Paid $15 for the Benz lead removal tool, worth every cent. I did my old c32 without it, using spanners, so much harder.
