E63 Trans mount for w208 55?

E63 Trans mount for w208 55?
I just ordered the E63 trans mount for my 01 55 I was told by a friend of mine that is a mercedes mechanic that they are interchangeable. Has anyone else done this on their 55? I heard something about E55 motor mounts being superior as well. Looking to order soon, thanks for any help.

I think E63 uses 3 bolt holes with #: "212 240 10 18", while CLK55 uses 4 bolt holes with #: "212 240 04 18", isn't...??

does w211 E55K motor mounts fit w202 chassie?
do you know if they are solid rubber not oily filled?
do you know if those round metal plates are included in the box or needed to be changed along with the new mounts?

Hey Dennis,
Sure they fit perfectly with W202, i have them already,
unfortunately i didn't inspect them if rubber or oily,,
those white plates are rubber, i think they're for heat protection, and sure they comes with a mounts as kit.....

That middle bolt on the 55 mount cant do much right? It just holds that little plate in place.. As long as the other 3 line up well I should be fine. I heard these mounts will last twice as long as the original 208 55 mount.

also im not sure about the line between top bolt & down bolts, if it a same shape or not....??
i didn't compared between them, i think they're the same....!!
