CLK55 Oil Sensor Q's
Hey all,
I mostly lurk on here and read and learn. I started with a 430 CLK with the AMG dress up package on it, great little car and very solid, wishing I would not have sold it. OK, on to my questions. I have been receiving the Oil Sensor Malfunction on my 05 CLK55 AMG, on occasion I will get the add one quart at next fill up. Yesterday I went out and the car started out with the Oil Sensor readout, then changed to the Add 1 quart, then shortly it displayed change engine oil and the final was the red low engine oil indication. I have seen some old posts concerning the use of oil in the AMG's and some folks having t change the sensor. I have added three quarts over the past two days. My first question is how to change the oil sensor, mostly is it in the oil pan or somewhere else? Secondly, what are other guys/gals seeing for oil consumption on their AMG's. I hope you guys don't get too upset if this is a constant question on here but I wasn't able to find any definite answers.
