I recently purchased a Pioneer Avic-5000NEC for my CLK55. I removed the nav unit noticing the one fiber optic plug appeared to be going towards the cd changer in the glove-box. There were no additional fiber optic cables coming from the unit at all. Is there anyone that has recently changed out their unit for a double din? Today I removed the driver side rear trunk paneling to see if there was a Bose amp present but I didn't see one although the speakers have Bose on them. All I saw was a ETS ASR Control Module unit Accelerator mounted to the inner fender wall. I have every thing I need to install the double din so far including the steering wheel control module and harnesses. Thanks for any help. (Maryland area)
